Business Development Associate

The business development associate will be responsible for researching, sourcing, and qualifying new business opportunities for The Go Generation’s FIT (flexible independent travel) and business incentives service lines.

About The Go Generation

The Go Generation is an experiential travel design company. We have been recognized by the travel industry for our innovative approach to designing some of the most unique experiences the world has to offer and for leveraging experiential travel to drive strategic business objectives

Responsibilities

•Research, source, and qualify leads

•Identifying ideal mix of social, email & phone touch points to open doors and get folks to an introduction/discovery meeting

•Schedule interest and discovery meetings with prospective clients who’ve been qualified as a lead

•Manage leads through the prospecting process

•Cold-calling on businesses and organizations (as needed)

•Identify and attend high value networking events to source leads

Must Have’s & Qualifications

•Critical thinking and listening skills

•Ability to quickly and proactively build a rapport and find commonality with people (you don’t mind breaking the ice to get to know people)

•Strong written and oral communication skills

•Metrics Driven

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, & Excel)

•At least 500 LinkedIn connections

•Must be based in the Atlanta area

Nice to Have’s

•Prior entrepreneurial, sales, or business development experience
